“Resurgence of Republican Party”–McDonnell

Filed under: Bob McDonnell — loudounlady @ 11:13 pm

Bob McDonnell, the Republican nominee for governor, held a blogger conference call this afternoon where he discussed his recent campaign kick-off and the importance of this race for the GOP.

The call covered topics ranging from McDonnell’s goals to create a more business friendly Virginia to the role of new media in this governor’s race.  The conversation started off with a question posed by Princella Smith, a Republican activist, about off-shore drilling.  Bob, who promotes off-shore drilling and exploration, pointed out the advantages both in terms of job creation and revenue for the Commonwealth.

When asked about the influence of prominent Republican figures joining the campaign, Bob discussed the resurgence of the Republican Party and the ability of it to start in Virginia and New Jersey.  Bob went on to say this governor’s race will cost around $25-$30 million dollars, breaking the Virginia record.

Bob ended with conversation by asking for volunteers from both inside and outside the state of Virginia, so please if you want to get involved in a national race, volunteer for the McDonnell for Governor Campaign here.

I want to thank Bob for taking time out of his schedule to converse with us bloggers.

  2. Did he happen to apologize for voting to ban selected firearms and for voting for gun rationing?

    Give me a break.

This guy claims to be a conservative, yet thinks the government has the right to tell me I can’t own certain firearms, and that I can only buy one handgun per 30 days?

Apologize, Bob! Gun rationing is just plain wrong.
